The OPA Earth is a discrete opamp which uses audiophile grade resistors combined with a dedicated audio design circuitry resulting in a smooth and natural sound. These opamps can replace existing opamp in amplifiers or CD/DACs.
As well as replacing a typical opamp, the OPA Earth also features a separate ground wire which can connect to the earth of the player. While this is not a requirement, it is recommended to ensure you get the best out of the Earth.
